CBSE Young India Culinary Championship

DSAV School conducted the CBSE Young India Culinary Championship with enthusiastic participation from students across different age groups. Category I for Classes VI–VIII was held on 7 August 2026, featuring nutritious dishes prepared through non-fire cooking methods. Dharshwana Sri of VII A secured First Place, followed by Varshini V. of VIII D in Second Place and Gowtham Kumar of VI A in Third Place.

Category II for Classes IX–XII was held on 5 August 2026, where students prepared vegetarian dishes using fire cooking under proper supervision. Prakalya J. S. of XII B secured First Place, followed by Suman R. of XI B in Second Place and Hema Sri of IX C in Third Place. The competition provided students with a valuable opportunity to develop creativity, confidence, teamwork, hygiene awareness and practical culinary skills.
